Sri Vaishnava Samhitha is one of the greatest and most exhaustive works of SriSri.Krishna Premi Maharaj. It narrates the history of various great vaishnava saints and sadhus of India. This work is comprised of 10 cantos. The first 3 cantos deal with the lives of spiritual preceptors like Sri Shankara, Sri Ramanuja, Sri Madhva and their followers. The next 4 cantos deal with Sri.Krishna Chaitanya, Sri Nimbarka, Sri Hithaharivamsa, Sri Vallaba and the followers of their traditions. These are basically on the divine leelas of Sri Radha and Krishna, the glory of the Madhura bhava and Brindavan. The biographies of devotees of Pandarpur, Ayodhya and the charithras of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Badrachala Ramdas, Rajagopala Desikar and many others form the last 3 cantos.
Sri Krishna Premi Maharaj throughout emphasises the noble qualities of the saints rather than their miracles. He highlights love, truthfulness, devotion, virtuous conduct and so on and eshtablishes the same through relevant life histories of Sadhus.
Generally one has to read various works in various languages to know about the lives of the multitude of saints and sadhus of our great country.
